marc k. andrews

Marc Andrews is an Associate in the Boston office of Boyle | Shaughnessy Law.  Marc practices in the areas of civil litigation defense and insurance coverage analysis, with a focus on property damage, construction defect, product liability and environmental claims.

Before joining Boyle | Shaughnessy Law, Marc served as a senior law clerk (2013-2014) and law clerk (2012-2013) to the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court.  As a judicial law clerk, Marc assisted judges throughout the Commonwealth in analyzing dispositive motions and resolving issues that arose during trials.

In 2011, as an Energy Policy Fellow with the Bipartisan Policy Center in Washington, DC, Marc analyzed developments in federal energy policy and provided insight on these issues to a national small business trade organization.  After graduating from law school in 2008, Marc handled cases involving civil litigation and construction disputes. 

Marc received his Juris Doctor cum laude from Suffolk University Law School where he was a Note Editor for the Suffolk Transnational Law Review.  While in law school, Marc worked as a research assistant for Professor Steven Ferrey, during which time he researched and drafted material on the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative and other climate change policies.  He also spent summers working with the United States Attorney’s office in Boston and the United States Small Business Administration’s Office of Advocacy in Washington, DC. 

Marc received his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University where he majored in Economics.  He lives in Waltham with his wife and two children.
