John M. Tilley
John M. Tilley is a Shareholder at Boyle | Shaughnessy Law, practicing in the firm’s Boston office. John’s practice primarily focuses on premise liability, professional liability, product liability, construction litigation, catastrophic injury and wrongful death litigation, subrogation litigation, and alcohol and dram shop related cases. John has extensive experience with all stages of litigation, including pre-suit investigations, pleadings, discovery, summary judgments, alternative dispute resolution, and preparing matters for trial. John has also represented a number of clients at mediation and has served as second chair at jury trials.
Over the course of his career, John has represented clients of all sizes, from large corporations and insurers to small businesses and individuals. John has appeared on behalf of these clients in a variety of Massachusetts Courts, including the District Court, Housing Court, Superior Court, the Appeals Court, and in the U.S. District Court, Massachusetts.
Prior to joining Boyle | Shaughnessy Law, John served as a Judicial Law Fellow to the Honorable Harry M. Grossman of the Massachusetts Land Court (2011-2012). John graduated, cum laude, from New England Law Boston and was a Comment and Note Editor for the New England Law Review. Prior to law school, John attended Bryant University, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Economics.
