Zachary H. Valentine is an Associate at the Providence office of Boyle | Shaughnessy Law, where his practice is concentrated in commercial litigation, product liability, environmental liability, trucking and transportation cases, premises liability, construction defects, and insurance coverage matters.  Zachary also works extensively in the bodily injury context, litigating cases involving wrongful death and catastrophic injury on the trial court level and on appeal to the Rhode Island Supreme Court.  He is admitted to practice in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, the Federal District of Rhode Island, and the Federal District of Massachusetts.

Zachary obtained his Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law magna cum laude, where he also served as the Executive Articles Editor for the Roger Williams University Law Review.  He also acted as a Judicial Extern to Justice Gilbert V. Indeglia of the Rhode Island Supreme Court and President of the Intellectual Property Law Association during law school.

Following graduation, Zachary served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Rhode Island Supreme Court Trial Court Law Clerk Department during the 2016-2017 term, where he worked closely with the Honorable Brian P. Stern on cases assigned to the Out-County Business Calendar, including receiverships, insolvencies, and complex business disputes involving breach of fiduciary duty claims, breach of contract claims, and land use disputes.  Zachary was also assigned to the Kent County Criminal Trial Calendar, where he worked with the Honorable Brian P. Stern on numerous criminal matters, including three prominent murder trials.
