Dawn M. Piccirilli

Dawn Piccirilli is a Shareholder at Boyle | Shaughnessy Law whose practice is concentrated in civil litigation, focusing on product liability, premises liability, hospitality litigation, employment and discrimination litigation, professional liability, construction defect and accident litigation, motor vehicle and trucking accident litigation, mortuary litigation, business litigation and bad faith litigation.

Dawn is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She recently litigated a class action, in Connecticut, New Hampshire and Maine.  She recently served as a Special Assistant Attorney General to defend the Suffolk County District Attorney's office in discrimination litigation.

Dawn has significant trial experience, and recently received defense verdicts in several different cases involving claims of discrimination and retaliation, product defect, slip and fall / charitable limitations, breach of warranty, nuisance, and premises liability. In addition, Dawn has extensive experience in employment litigation involving sexual harassment, hospitality litigation, and with litigation concerning nursing homes and other care facilities.  Dawn has also successfully argued before the Massachusetts Appeals Court.

Prior to joining Boyle | Shaughnessy Law, Dawn served as a Special Assistant District Attorney in Middlesex County, Massachusetts.

Dawn attended New England School of Law, where she participated on the Jessup International Moot Court Team and served as the Jessup International Moot Court Coordinator. Dawn received her B.A. degree from Franklin and Marshall College, where she authored a senior thesis entitled Ethical Foundation for the Legal System.
