To recruit, retain, develop, and advance women attorneys.
To ensure, through proactive programs and activities, that women attorneys in the firm have the same opportunity for advancement and success as men do.
To provide a platform for the women attorneys at Boyle | Shaughnessy Law to come together and find community, share experiences and advice, and grow together.
Boyle | Shaughnessy Law’s Women’s Initiative sponsored this year’s Cradles to Crayons clothing drive. In addition, BSL attorneys and staff processed and packaged PSU (Pajamas, Socks + Underwear) packs for distribution to local children in need.
Founded in 2002, Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive – at home, at school and at play. Cradles to Crayons supplies these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities that have with communities that need.
Members of BSL’s Women’s Initiative volunteered at the Boston Girls on the Run 5k. Girls on the Run is a non-profit that aims to reach girls at a critical stage, strengthening their confidence at a time when society begins to tell them they can’t. GOTR underscores the important connection between physical and emotional health, and addresses the whole girl when she needs it the most.
