Brian P. Doherty

Overview

Brian is a Shareholder in the Worcester office of Boyle | Shaughnessy Law with a practice focused on commercial and business litigation, insurance litigation and liability defense.

Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and New York, Brian regularly works with commercial and retail clients as well as educational institutions and youth service organizations to address liability and business concerns.  He has investigated and defended construction defect, premises and product liability, abuse, discrimination, and employment claims.  He also counsels commercial entities to address and resolve business disputes and works directly with insurers on extra-contractual claims and bad-faith litigation.

Brian is a former Director of the New England Region SCCA and previously served as Captain of the Quinsigamond Rowing Club Men’s Team.
