Jeffrey L. McCormick, Jr.

Overview

Jeffrey McCormick is a trial attorney who focuses his practice on all types of liability matters, including medical malpractice, motor vehicle liability, products liability, and premises liability. Having worked previously at both plaintiff and defense firms, Jeff has gained a thorough appreciation for both sides of legal disputes and brings this invaluable insight to his practice. Jeff has tried cases in both the state District Court and Superior Court and has frequently argued matters in both state and federal court. He has also appeared before the Massachusetts Appeals Court.

In addition to general civil litigation, Jeff worked for several years in admiralty and maritime law, defending vessel owners and shipyards in a variety of cases, including Jones Act cases, maintenance and cure claims, oil spills, fire loss, and maritime contract disputes.

Jeff received his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College and his law degree from Suffolk University Law School. During his time in law school, Jeff worked as a law clerk at a prominent plaintiff litigation firm.
