Overview
Lauren Moran is an Associate in the Worcester office of Boyle | Shaughnessy Law. Lauren focuses her practice on civil litigation, representing individuals, businesses, and insurers in a variety of matters.
Lauren earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2025. During law school, she served as President of the Women’s Law Students Association and Symposium Editor for the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal. She was also a Teaching Assistant for Criminal Law and received the Women’s Law Student Award in recognition of her leadership and commitment to advancing the interests of women. In addition, Lauren received CALI Excellence Awards for her academic performance in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure.
Lauren gained valuable litigation experience through internships with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, the State of Connecticut Office of the Claims Commissioner, and several private firms, primarily focused on civil and commercial litigation work. She also clerked with the Town of West Hartford Corporation Counsel, where she developed a strong foundation in municipal law during her final semester of law school.
Before attending law school, Lauren earned her Bachelor of Arts from the College of the Holy Cross, where she majored in Political Science and English. A four-year member of the Women’s Swimming and Diving Team, she served as team captain during her senior year.
Lauren is particularly interested in developing her practice in civil and business litigation.
