Overview
Marion Mannai is an Associate in the Boston office of Boyle | Shaughnessy Law. Her practice focuses on civil litigation, including negligence claims, product liability, and environmental matters. She manages cases through all phases of litigation, including legal research, motion practice, discovery, depositions, court appearances, and settlement negotiations. She works closely with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategy and deliver strong results for clients.
Before entering law school, Marion earned a Master of Science in Political Psychology from Queen’s University Belfast, where she graduated with distinction. Her postgraduate research examined group identity, intergroup contact, and public attitudes toward refugee resettlement in post-conflict societies. This work led to a peer-reviewed publication analyzing support for Syrian refugee resettlement in Northern Ireland.
During law school, Marion gained hands-on legal experience across multiple public-sector and academic settings. As a Faculty Research Assistant at New England Law | Boston, she contributed to a publication on corporate accountability and grievance mechanisms, recognized in the Harvard International Law Journal. While interning with the Executive Office of Health and Human Services, she drafted petitions and settlement agreements related to estate recovery and provider overpayments. She also supported legal work at the Bureau of Special Education Appeals, focusing on due process under the IDEA, and assisted clients in family law matters through the Volunteer Lawyers Project.
