Overview
Jonathan P. Killeen is a seasoned trial attorney and Shareholder with Boyle | Shaughnessy Law, whose practice focuses on high-exposure civil litigation. Jonathan represents clients in a broad range of litigation and risk-management matters including catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims, liquor liability, defamation, premises liability, products liability, professional liability, insurance coverage and business litigation. Jonathan also manages a successful appellate practice and has handled matters before the New Hampshire Supreme Court, Massachusetts Appeals Court, and United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
Before entering private practice, Jonathan served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Justices of the New Hampshire Superior Court, where he assisted judges in analyzing and resolving complex civil and criminal matters. This experience provided him with a unique perspective on judicial decision-making and litigation strategy that continues to benefit his clients today.
Jonathan earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law. While in law school, he distinguished himself as a member of the prestigious Daniel Webster Scholar Honors Program, served as a Teaching Assistant for Torts and Legal Writing, and received the Douglas J. Wood Merit Scholarship. He also completed judicial and private-practice internships that further strengthened his litigation foundation. He received his undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.
Jonathan is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, as well as before the United States District Courts for the Districts of New Hampshire and Massachusetts and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
He lives in Manchester, New Hampshire with his wife and their two daughters.
