Mark W. Shaughnessy

Overview

Mark is a trial attorney who serves as the Co-Chair of the firm’s Complex Litigation Practice. He has tried more than 100 jury trials throughout the United States. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, New York, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. Mark started with the firm over 30 years ago and currently serves as the firm’s President. Mark is a dedicated and focused trial attorney who has handled and served as first chair in the most serious and catastrophic cases during his career. He has been recognized as a top trial attorney at both the local and national levels.

Mark is often called upon to provide advice to individuals and corporations regarding pre-trial and trial strategy. He is regularly recruited to speak on a wide range of trial-related topics for national corporations and organizations.

Mark resides with his family in Boston. He is engaged in many charitable and community organizations. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Massachusetts Judicial Nominating Commission.
