Thomas J. Fay

Overview

Tom Fay is a Partner at Boyle | Shaughnessy Law. Admitted to the bar in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont, Tom practices in the Boston, Manchester, and Woodstock offices. He both prosecutes and defends clients and assists businesses and individuals in determining the best strategies for optimal outcomes. A highly successful courtroom litigator, he makes strategic use of timely and cost-effective dispute resolution options.

Tom has extensive experience in state and federal transportation, construction, environmental, blasting, premises, bad faith, and product liability litigation. Memberships include the Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA), the New England Chapter of the Society of Explosive Engineers (NESEE), the Defense Research Institute (DRI), and the Massachusetts Defense Lawyer’s Association (MDLA).

A graduate of Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America, Tom served on the Law Review for two years. He graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science.

Tom is an avid runner who lives in Wayland with his family. He is an elected member of the Wayland Select Board and enjoys working with his fellow residents to meet the challenges of managing and improving the town for all.
