Laura D. Devine is a Shareholder based in the Manchester office of Boyle | Shaughnessy Law. Prior to joining the firm, Laura represented financial institutions in state and federal courts in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Her state and federal practice concentrates in commercial litigation, which includes transportation, construction, premises liability, blasting, bad faith litigation, education law, professional malpractice, and appeals.
Laura received her Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law. While in law school, she completed full-time internships with the Honorable John C. Cratsley (ret.) at the Suffolk Superior Court; the United States Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, Criminal Section in Washington, DC; the Service Employees International Union General Counsel’s office in Washington, DC; and Brown & Black in Boston, MA. In law school she served as a Teaching Assistant for Professor Libby Adler’s first-year constitutional law course and was a staff member of the Law Journal. She received her undergraduate degree from Northeastern University, magna cum laude, where she studied history and was a member of the rowing team.
Laura resides in Portsmouth with her husband and golden retriever.
